Hi Alan,
Good to see you here. It’s is a bit funny, but most people think that this “magical” thing we call Internet Marketing will create wealth without them having to talk to anyone. I have taught Internet sales people in the automotive business for years that the Internet is a way to capture the attention of your buyer, and then allowing you to start a relationship with that person to see if what you have to offer fits their needs. But most of them continue to try and close the deal without picking up the phone.
It just doesn’t work!

I sometime think that this whole Internet thing has created a bigger problem, especially with the younger generation, and people are losing the art of conversation.

Thanks for posting Alan, and come back more often. You always have great comments and insight.

For some reason I found this very funny that somebody had to learn that personal communication beats websites, blogs or emails. Of course, personal is better, people like to know that they are cared for and about.

Yeah Soren, Until I found this little tool, I spent hours every day Tweeting and posting on Facebook. I turned 5 hours a day into 30 minutes in the morning.

Thanks for the comment Soren. BN is a great site for people like us to network and learn our craft. Unfortunately, I think we will have to continue getting some of those emails we prefer not to read, but that comes with the territory. I give you a little tip. Whenever I am checking out other marketing strategies, even from the spammers, I use a special email account just for that task. That way I don’t have to pay too much attention to bogus ones. Keep up the good work and hope to connect with you on BN.

You are so right, all those e-mail I receive every day, as you also tells, all talking about “getting rich quick” – how do we prevent these e-mail coming – I also belive that is about keep doing the right thing every day, day after day, helping people, give people some useful information.
